Not quite as crazy as it sounds, though a bit more to avoid than the Farm Cove walkway – Police Cars, Police Officers (on traffic duty), Buses, Taxis, People yelling at taxis, Tourists, Other Cyclists, Pedestrians, Cars & Garbage Cans.
Had a great cycle back uptown to 45th (believe or not it is actually uphill) from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. A good detour over the Brookyln Bridge then back up through Chinatown, taking 1st Avenue up past the UN buidling.
